Shelters continue to be filled to capacity which means the need for transport and low cost spay/neuter services is at an all time high.

CASA has transported over 9,000 animals out of Tennessee – in just 3.5 years. We have performed over 6,800 surgeries for local rescues and shelters combatting the overpopulation issue at its source. The need for a larger space is not only critical to our operation, but essential for the underserved communities we assist across Tennessee.

Our reach:

32 counties in Tennessee
17 shelters/rescues using the clinic for surgery
2-3 transports per week with an average of 30-50 animals

A young girl in a colorful tie-dye T-shirt and pink shorts smiling as she interacts with a large white dog with black patches, who is sitting on its hind legs with front paws resting on the girl. The dog wears a blue harness and leash, and the girl is holding its paws in an indoor setting, likely at an animal rescue event with people and display booths in the background.

A word from one of our rescue partners

“As a partner rescue organization that works with CASA, Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE) is eternally grateful for all of CASA’s incredible work. CARE has worked with CASA to bring thousands of adoptable animals to our volunteer and foster-based animal rescue over the years and we are thrilled for CASA’s strategic initiatives squarely focused on scaling operations to help more animals in need.

“CASA is an organization that understands and tackles the true root causes of animal overpopulation in struggling animal shelters. CASA’s team of staff and volunteers demonstrate the amazing power of passion coupled with grassroot efforts and grit to deliver real and long-term solutions.

“On behalf of the thousands of animals that CARE has taken in through CASA transports, our foster volunteers and board members, and the families who have adopted and love their rescued furry family members, CARE is forever thankful for the amazing hearts and spirit of everyone with CASA and the life-saving work CASA performs.”

“Animals don’t have to die. There is a place for them to go. It just takes someone willing to do it.”
